Ataraxia is a smartwatch-like wearable that tackles loneliness by connecting people around the globe.
Ataraxia uses bio-sensors to monitor the wearer's mood. If the mood decreases or the stress levels increase too much, Ataraxia will send an alert to every other Ataraxia in the community. Other Ataraxia users can send this person a virtual comforting gesture to let him/her know that they are not alone.

JUST LIKE YOUR REGULAR SMARTWATCH
Like any other smartwatch, Ataraxia displays time.
However, no numbers or dials can be found in the sphere as this will be replaced for LED icons: purple circle for hour and green marker for minutes. (e.g. Time shown: 1.20)
SUPPORT WHENEVER YOU NEED IT
The watch sphere can be removed to mimic the action of holding hands.
The Ataraxia Community will always be with you, together.
REAL WORLD CONNECTIONS
Users are also encouraged to meet face-to-face.
Whenever another user is within your near proximity, the device will transform into a 'compass' that will help you navigate to the other user's location.
